On April 5, 2023, the much-anticipated EntrepreneurHub was launched with the aim of connecting MSMEs with investors through a digital ecosystem, coupled with a 3-month incubation period. The opening ceremony featured a thought-provoking speech by Teten Masduki, the Minister for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, emphasizing the importance of youth initiatives and the future of Indonesia in the global market. Januar Parlindungan, the CBDO of PVG, was also in attendance.
This program aims to facilitate the growth and digitization of Indonesian MSMEs with a creative business model. Sectors such as FnB, Service, and Creative Industry are well-represented among the participants. At the end of the program, the most promising MSMEs will receive financial aid to help boost their growth.
Teten Masduki pointed out that “There is still a funding gap for MSMEs. Out of the 65 million MSMEs in Indonesia, only 30 million have accessed funds for their businesses. Collaborating with banks is necessary to make businesses more innovative, active, and to boost market competition in the country.”
EntrepreneurHub provides a prestigious opportunity for SMEs to connect with over 100 successful business owners and participate in mentoring sessions with experts from PVG, BTPN Bank, Rumah Zakat, and top universities in Indonesia, including Podomoro University, Jakarta University, Binus University, Trisakti University, and Mercu Buana University, among others. This program is a collaboration among the penta-helix sectors.
PVG attended EntrepreneurHub as a VIP guest and mentor, supporting the digitization of Indonesian MSMEs through its flooring platforms Klikoo and Posy, which have so far reached over 30,000 business clients and are still growing. The company's primary objective is to support Indonesian MSMEs by nurturing projects that will take Indonesia's digital economy to the next level.
